Do you know that brussel sprouts grow on a large stalk in a spiral pattern. I love how many patterns that appear in nature. Brussel sprouts are not only delicious they grow in an organized fashion. The majority of brussel sprouts are grown in California and some parts of Washington. However, I got this at the farmers market and if I remember correctly they were grown in Sodus, near Lake Ontario. The pleasant lady that sold them to me, told me and my friend that they don't get harvested until after a good frost and that is what sweetens them up! These little guys are fighters too!

More Green!
