These beautiful fruits are called Osage Oranges! I wasn't aware of them until last weekend a friend stopped the car suddenly on the side of the road because she saw Osage Oranges. These green balls are not really for eating, but I washed them up and put them in a bowl. They smell delicious and they make a great centerpiece! I will post more pictures soon. Apparently these oranges are mostly found in Texas and Arizona, however off of Route 64 in Upstate New York the side of the roads are filled with these oranges! If you have these strange brain-like balls near where you live, bring them inside and enjoy!

Osage Oranges
