Buttered Whole Wheat Pasta with a Poached Egg

I can't remember if I mentioned...but recently I read Alone in the Kitchen with an Eggplant. A collection of essays about what people cook for themselves when they're alone. In one of the chapters the author wrote that she would indulge in a poached egg over buttered pasta. I knew right then that I wanted it for dinner...I've had it quite a few times since. Don't judge it until you try it!
